IRRADIATORS

The laboratory (called Pavilon) is used for calibration and testing radiation detectors and
instruments. It is equipped with sealed radioactive sources as listed in the Table below. The
radiation fields are calibrated with instruments and detectors verified (authenticated) by the
Hungarian National Office of Measures, including ion chambers, TL and track detectors and
gold activation foils.
