Library

The library of the Institute of Isotopes is a scientific library. It was founded in 1959 and its main task is to support the scientific research in the Institute. The work of the library is supervised by the Library Committee of the Institute.
The reading room offers seating for 6 persons, 2 PC-s for readers for literature searches in databases and a copy machine. Currently there are 12.298 books and 7.087 issues of journals in the library

Catalogues
  • The computerized database of the library, TINLIB WEB OPAC contains bibliographical data of books from 1980 up today.
  • Card catalogues on books until 1980 and journals up today are at the disposal of the readers.
Lending and interlibrary lending services
  • Books can be borrowed until other request comes up. Bounded journals and current journals can be borrowed for one week by members of KFKI and Izotóp Intézet Ltd. too.
  • For other persons only interlibrary lending is available.
  • The library supplies readers with copies or original documents upon request. Expenses will be borne by users.
  • Not available for loan: reference books
